With a theme of DAILY LIFE, you get a chance to make something ordinary look a bit more glamorous, or you can reveal just how dull you really are. I chose the latter. I now realize the books on my nightstand pretty much sum up the five main aspects of my life: self-evaluation, raising my son, baseball, being a wife, and eating good food. Not glamorous, but very fulfilling. What’s on your nightstand? To see the fabulous DAILY LIFE of Amy Craft, San Antonio Photographer, click the link and check out her beautiful blog.

For me, LANDSCAPE shots are quite a challenge, so I’ve dug into the archives this week. I admire those few who shoot them well. I’m pretty sure they’re all morning people. A concept I have dreamed about but clearly will never be able to master. I’m wired all wrong for that. I hope this makes you feel like you’re on top of the world. That’s pretty much were I was when I took it. It’s looking west from Cottonwood Pass, Colorado along the Continental Divide. Elevation: 12,126 feet above sea level. To see the amazing scenery in her part of the country, click over to Baltimore Photographer Nicole Lubin’s blog, and then click through the circle to see all the beautiful LANDSCAPES.

It’s good to be back to the 52-week project after a two week absence! The theme this week is WATER, which there’s a serious dearth of here in Colorado, so here’s a little something from my visit to New York City last week. The Temple of Dendur in the Metropolitan Museum of Art is an amazing sight with the reflecting pool along one side and those incredible north facing windows. Next up with an offering to the WATER theme is Brandie Pahl, Michigan Photographer.
